This policy covers the Pro Ai report feature inside Avoid.

What stays local

Most habit data in Avoid stays on your device by default.

• Habit names
• Relapse logs
• Reflections
• Tags
• Streaks
• Local statistics
• Saved AI reports

Cloud backup, when enabled, stores your backup in your own iCloud or Google Drive account.

What is sent when you request a Pro Ai report

When you tap to generate a Pro Ai report, Avoid sends a limited report context to the Avoid backend so the report can be generated.

That context can include:

• Weekly and monthly progress summaries
• Habit summaries
• Slip counts and selected relapse notes
• Wins and milestone reflections
• Trigger patterns and cause tags
• The app language/locale and timezone

Avoid does not send your full local database for this feature.

Third-party processing

To generate a Pro Ai report, Avoid sends the selected report context to:

• Avoid's Pro Ai backend
• Groq, the AI model provider used to generate the response

The backend also verifies that the requesting user has a valid paid Plus or active Pro Ai entitlement state before allowing report generation.

Why this data is processed

The data is processed only to:

• Generate the requested report
• Enforce access controls
• Enforce quota and anti-abuse limits
• Monitor failures and suspicious usage

What the backend stores

For Pro Ai requests, the backend stores operational metadata such as:

• Report generation timestamps
• Model name used
• Input size and output budget metadata
• IP/request abuse logs

The backend does not store habit names, relapse notes, or other user-entered habit content nor any personally identifiable information.

Analytics

Basic product analytics are separate from Pro Ai processing.

Avoid analytics do not include habit names, relapse notes, contact names, location names, or other user-entered habit content.

Legal requests

If you do not want selected anonymous report context to be sent for Pro Ai generation, do not use the Pro Ai report feature.
